I feel bad that it was too young but that is on me..
He watched 2 other does come in and tried for like 10 minutes each to get on the shot.
I am very proud of him for not pulling the trigger unless he knew he had the shot.
When we went to the deer he said "The deer came out, I took my time and shot and it went straight down, I have no regrets" funny kid.
We had backstrap and tenderloins that night, steaks last Friday and momma is making his favorite, deer chili tonight! I ground it up last night.
Going out again the next 2 weekends.
Can't wait!
